Lawrence, it all sounds very scientific, if you exclude the tape measure. And from small maps giant atlases grow.

You and your Exeter researchers are very lucky to have each other. You for their expertise and they for being given such a great chance to work in a wonderful environment and culture.

Keep up the good work and shame on you for not taking part in the bike rally.


Lucky to have each other? They've taken some time off to do some travelling and to renew their visas, and I'm using the time to have their brand new bikes repaired.
Two of them won prizes in the rally, worth more than a couple of bikes.
