Retired English teacher living in UK and Thailand.
Biography
Lived and worked in Bangkok 1967 - 1974. In Vientiane, Laos, 1974 - 1976 before returning to UK with family.
Married Pensri in Bangkok 1969, son Dominic born 1970 and daughter Darunee 1973. Now have 2 grandsons and 3 grand-daughters.
First visited Phana (Pensri's home village) in 1970 and frequently thereafter. We have had a home in Phana since 1992. Currently we spend about six months a year in Thailand and the other six months in UK.
Interests
buddhism, reading, writing, travelling, anthropology, asian cultures.
